As I gaze out upon the horizon
Faint mist of clouds hovering in the distance
Soothing yet so antagonizing
Which direction will it take?
Confusion and uncertainty

The tide has turned
The water has become calm and peaceful
So clear and transparent
The evening air engulfs and captivates me
A sigh of relief

A beacon of light bobs alone in solitude
Guiding ships along their path
Each flash of light gives direction
So subtle yet so powerful
My hope rests upon the Light
